Questioning Reality
What went so wrong?
When did we grow distant?
Who is to blame?
How will we fix this?
Why are my emotions so strong?
What caused this?
When will tomorrow come?
Who are we now?
How did we grow apart?
Why did this happen?
What brought this on?

Sinking like the Titanic
Life ain't so easy today,
Remember when it was calm and relaxed?
Back when I could breathe,
You didn't say I had an "attitude"
Nor did you say that this isn't gonna work
Back when we believed each other,
Trust was natural.
Chill bumps ran up my arms, from the brush of your hand.
Life ain't so simple any more.
Remember when it was calm and relaxed?
Back when I could breathe,
You didn't say I had an "attitude"
Nor did you say that this isn't gonna work
Back when we believed each other,
Trust was natural.
Chill bumps ran up my arms, from the brush of your hand.
Life ain't so simple any more.

And still
And still when I look up at the sky and see the beauty that only God himself could create with the many colors and clouds shapes, I sit in awe. No matter where I may be it has always caused me to say God is soo good, so masterful and for some amazing reason I know its all real.

Starbucks Poetry
I sat a starbucks with a good friend last night and while I was trying to study some inspiring music was on. I started writing without thinking, then I grabbed my friend's coffee holder and wrote on it. This is the full poem I wrote, I also began writing another that isnt done yet.
Candles flicker, fires grow
Songs inspire, music ignites imagination
Years float by
with the beauty of changing seasons
Thank you for the melodic memories
Many stories and contagiouus laughs
The one that isnt done yet:
Dancing under stars
feathers floating in the wind
candles growing dim
not sure if that part will actually ever become anything more than that because I dont think it makes much sense.

Live
This is the time;
This is when I am alive!
Not yesterday.
Not tomorrow.
TODAY.
Heart beats now.
Lungs expand now.
Blood flushes cheeks,
Gorgeous bouquets of scents flow.
Life, Living, it is now.
Not before,
Not After,
This moment.
This is when I am alive!
Not yesterday.
Not tomorrow.
TODAY.
Heart beats now.
Lungs expand now.
Blood flushes cheeks,
Gorgeous bouquets of scents flow.
Life, Living, it is now.
Not before,
Not After,

The rest of my short story
Ephrain walked into the Acott’s later that night only to find his good friend Eric, sitting on a stool made of beech wood. Sir Joseph of Kafe was not too far away. Walking toward Eric, Ephrain took out his necklace that he had received that morning. He casually placed it in front of Eric saying, “Look who got lucky today.” For back in those days everyone knew that if you received a silver necklace from the opposite sex, you would be destined to marry.
“I have seen one of those types of circles before, on a silver necklace like that. But where?” Perplexed, Eric drank a whole goblet of Roet and ordered two more.
“I believe that I have finally, truly, fallen in love.”
“What is the girl’s name?” Sir Joseph of Kafe chimed in.
“Rowena Fain, the bookseller’s daughter. Have you ever met her?” Ephrain enquires after Eric.
“Yes, she is the only girl in the whole kingdom who has no wanting at all for me, but why on earth would she have you instead? She even gave you a token of her love.”
Sir Joseph of Kafe threw his comment in. “Oh, how romantic,” jokingly, for all of Acott’s to hear. Ephrain suddenly stood, his hand snatched the necklace and stormed out, of Acott’s furious at the Prince’s true disbelief.
The next day Eric ventured into the baker’s shop and saw Rowena looking for a certain type of bread. “Rowena, how are you? Have you talked to Ephrain lately?” Eric was the only one to know of Rowena’s love for Ephrain, “You know he has a necklace and a pendant on it. He claims that it is from you.” Eric said all of this in one breath, not giving Rowena a chance to talk.
“Eric, it is lovely to see you again. I am doing well. I have not talked to Ephrain. I also did not give him a necklace of any kind, considering that I have never said a word to him.” Rowena sounded upset. She paid the baker for the bread she had found and left the shop. Eric paid the baker and followed suit leaving but walking in an opposite direction than Rowena.
When Eric finally reached the blacksmith’s he asked for Ephrain, who showed up five minutes later, expecting to take an order. “Yes Sir, how would you like your sword?” As he spoke he began writing; when no one spoke, he looked up, “Oh, Eric, how are you?”
“Fine, thanks. I just went to the bakery and you will never guess whom I ran into. Rowena Fwain. She told me that she has never talked to you. She couldn’t have given you that necklace. Good joke, my friend”
“No, it’s not a joke. Rowena is in the back of this very shop as we speak. We are going to the tournament together today. I will prove it to you then. You must be jealous. Rowena is the only girl in the kingdom who prefers me over you. Oh, and she is staying here for seven more days, while her family is gone to Braille.” And with that Ephrain stormed out.
The Triaas
On the way to the match Ephrain had to make a delivery in the next town over. The shortcut to Havershire was over Mt. Teeping. Rowena had come with Ephrain, so they could go to the match after. On the top of Mt. Teeping was the Forest of No End. The forest was full of Triaas; they were supposedly hundreds of years ago from blaze-wolf dung and orc blood. The mated and created many more of their kind, taking over the forest.
“Rowena, stay close. I will keep you safe.” Ephrain figured it would be more heroic if he said this while pulling her close and pulling out his sword. As the Triaas approached he began to swing the sword and fight them. One here, two there, he killed them all except one which had been hiding behind a tree nearby. When Rowena say this one she pulled the bow off her back that she always carried and shot two arrows into the Triaas back killing it. They were quiet until they went down the mountain. He delivered the sword that he had carried in a case on his back and they ventured back through the forest to the tournament. Ephrain finally broke the conversational silence by asking, “So, where did that come from? You’re whipping out the bow and killing a Triaa?”
“Well it is just my little bit of reassurance when I leave home. I bring my bow everywhere I go. I learned from King Calibar . Don’t look shocked, I have known Eric since I was a young girl. We used to play together as children. His father and mine have been friends for a long time. My father was once asked to be knighted but he declined because he loves his job and family. I learned to shoot from the King at age seven, that was around the time you came to the kingdom isn’t it?”
“Yes, but I cannot remember much before that.” They continued their conversation all the way to the tournament gates.
Rowena continued her stay in the back of the Blacksmith’s for the next few days, cleaning and talking with Ephrain, while he got further and further behind in his work. Eric talked with Rowena in random places around the town center, the emporium, and even in alleys. He would catch her off guard playing with her siblings.
Truth spills out
One morning, Ephrain awakened to find Eric and a tall skinny black haired woman above him. Ephrain found this girl unattractive. “Get up, get dressed, and meet us in the alley. Now.” Eric was not in a joking mood.
“Do what he says or I may have to kill you,” the woman said.
Once Ephrain got dressed, he went downstairs and told Rowena he had to go out for some fresh air. She asked to join him, but he said, “No, you should take a break. Go rest for a while.”
When he got down to the alley, Eric began, “This is Rowena. She is the real Rowena, you see her as ugly because Kataleen, a sorceress, has switched looks with Rowena. There is a flaw in Kataleen’s plan though, you are the only one who see Rowena as a scraggily woman. She,” Eric pointed to the real Rowena, “is the woman you were in love with until the morning you received that piece of metal.”
“That girl up there,” Rowena pointed to the upper story in the building next to them, “is the most evil, rudest, meanest, bitch…” Rowena stopped before she got to her yelling point, because she was so upset. “Kataleen’s life force is tied to the necklace around her neck. You have seen the one with the tiny sapphire diamonds?”
“Yes, but why is she coming after me?” Ephrain was still skeptical about all of this. Rowena and Eric flashbacked to their childhood, Rowena and Eric had become best friends then and Eric would tease Kataleen. Kataleen couldn’t do anything to the King’s son but because Rowena was not royalty she could easily be a victim. As they all grew up Kataleen always thought of seeking revenge. When Kataleen was 15 she began plotting and formed a great plan to destroy Ephrain which would shatter Rowena’s heart, for Rowena’s love was so great for him. After Eric told this all to Ephrain, Rowena’s cheeks were deep pink ad there were signs of Ephrain’s doing the same. Eric and Rowena had to leave so Kataleen would not begin wondering where Ephrain had gone.
Wedding Scandal
The next evening, Kataleen went looking for Ephrain because she was worried he had found out about her finally. She wandered into the blacksmith’s shop and found him sitting on a bench beside his swords.
“Come sit by me, I need to ask you an important question.” Rowena gathered part of her skirt in her hand, so the fabric would not rip on the harsh wood bench. “Rowena, I love you, marry me?”
Taken aback by the sudden seriousness of such a question, a false tear rolled down her cheek as she nodded her head up and down. “Yes, I will. Can it be as soon as possible?”
“Of course, when your family returns you can begin planning.”
“No, tomorrow. I want it to be tomorrow, they are not necessary to the ceremony.” Ephrain opened his mouth, and then snapped it shut. He reminded himself that this was part of the plan.
“Tomorrow then. I will go make arrangements.” Ephrain left Kataleen sitting on the bench with a smile on her face yet still not sure if he knew the truth or not.
The following day came, the arrangements for the wedding had been made and the bride was preparing for her groom. Eric and Rowena were disguised and went in to the bride’s chamber to help prepare her. Rowena began to pull Kataleen’s hair up into a bun, when Eric grabbed Kataleen by the throat. Rowena ripped off Kataleen’s necklace. Kataleen jumped up screaming and when she landed her foot crushed the necklace that was linked to her life force. Kataleen fell to the floor, dead. Eric and Rowena left immediately after Eric grabbed the wedding dress and veil from a cushioned chair, and while they ran from the room Rowena’s skin glowed for a moment. Her appearance returned, beauty, red hair, height all returned. Rowena followed Eric to the kitchen where he handed her the dress and left to guard the kitchen door. Rowena quickly changed into the lovely gown taking care not to crease or rip it.
With the veil placed on her head, Rowena began to make her way step by step down the aisle as gracefully as a swan. When she reached the alter to meet her groom, Ephrain turned towards her. They said their ‘I do’s’ while Ephrain voice with nervousness. The worry had begun to take root in the pit of his stomach. The priest finally said, “You may kiss the bride,” and Ephrain’s shaking hands lifted the veil.
Not Over
Jonathan and Elizabeth loved the story; they told their mother that they did. She waited until all of their pondering questions cease, and then began her Goodnight kisses on her children’s foreheads.
A few days later Elizabeth was playing with her best friend Westly when a girl came into the palace garden and introduced herself after asking to play. Lola had with her a necklace shaped as a vase with a top. She showed Elizabeth they emerald diamonds inside. “Lola looks like a rabbit,” Elizabeth turned around and saw that Westly had begun taunting Lola.
Surprise Awakening
Ephrain woke up the next morning to find a woman sitting on the floor, curled up with her arms and head on the foot of his bed. He sat straight up, then talked to himself, “Okay, girl in my room. This is strange. No, Ephrain. Calm down.” He pokes her to see if she is awake. “She is asleep. I hope I did not ‘see’ her last night. Maybe she walked in on her own. Yeah, she walked in on her own.” He then picked her up, placing her on his bed where he had been only moments before. He leaned over and looked into her face realizing that it was Rowena. Then he covered her up and left the room, in shock.
Rowena awoke to find herself in Ephrain’s room. “The first task is done. How good this it,” she said in a hushed voice. “Oh, my treasured one, you are still here.” She whispered as she began to finger a small blue bottle, on a gold chain around her slender neck. “I shall soon have my revenge.”
Right as Ephrain returned into the room, Rowena laid her head back down to make it look as though she had been asleep the whole time. She then blinked open her eyes and said, “Oh, hello.”
Ephrain looked at her and replied, “Umm…here is breakfast.”
“Thank you very much, that was thoughtful of you.” While saying this Rowena looked into Ephrain’s mesmerizing blue eyes and smiled.
“Why are you in my house, or even in my room for that matter?” He asked this with a charming tenderness, and tried not to sound too harsh.
“Well I suppose the answer to that question is…well…,” she said all of this very nervously. “Because I have enjoyed watching you ever since we were children. Besides, I have always wished that you would notice me, so what better way than this?” Ephrain looked at her in surprised awe. “Here is a token of my appreciation for breakfast.” As Rowena placed her hand on her neck, she pulled out, from under the neckline of her dress, a necklace. This necklace had a circle charm split into ten portions, like a pie. She handed the necklace to Ephrain.
Friendship of the Tournament
Ephrain had a particular delivery, one dark and grey morning that would force him to walk more than halfway across Berble for a tournament. As Ephrain was on his way, he noticed that the was only a select few people on the streets. He was extremely curious as to why this was. Ephrain finally reached the tournament gates when he noticed a young man with dirty-blonde hair and a much toned muscular build, pacing in a room. The young man was at the top of a three story, thatched-roof building. Ephrain climbed the stairs to the third floor, in search of the man he had just seen moments before. Suddenly, just before he gave up all hope of finding the strange man, he appeared. The man’s back was towards Ephrain, so Ephrain snuck up towards the man from behind. He grabbed his own dagger and put it up to the man’s thick neck. The man began to laugh, as though he thought Ephrain was only joking. “Sir Eric how did you know it was I?” Ephrain asked, while he released his grip on Eric.
“I know you all too well, I suppose,” Sir Eric replied, still laughing.
“Good, then we are equal seeing as I actually noticed you through that window.”
“Where is the sword, so I can practice my swing in your general direction?”
“Here it is, but I shall be a moving target, so you will miss.” Ephrain and Sir Eric joked around with their swords while an unwanted spectator walked in.
“Sir Eric, you should be resting. In your book you declared that on the day of a tournament it is always a good idea to rest and feel at ease. You do this to be one with your sword.” This was said by a very short and very mindful, yet always unknowingly annoying teenage boy. He had spectacles, of the rarest kind, they were made of titanium.
Sir Eric simply replied, “Yes, but I am a trained professional and can joke around if I wish. I am also the prince, which means I can have replacements, although I do not need one.” One of Sir Eric’s favorite topics was himself.
“And they are off!” The announcer was extremely excited during the match, as usual. “Sir Eric strikes, and hits a finger of his opponent. Sir Jason misses Sir Eric’s… bottom, by a couple of inches. Sir Eric strikes Sir Jason, again. Sir Jason retaliates, but misses once again, Sir Eric’s neck this time. It would be a great time to go grab a flask and some butterballs, while Sir Jason rests for a moment. Butterballs always taste lovely with scab sticks, don’t they? And they begin again. Go Sir Eri… Sorry about that. Sir Eric hits Sir Jason’s ear and there is the end fair maidens and cruel gents. Don’t forget to take home your free fur box, located at the pink table next to the gates.” The announcer had finally finished his commentary; the crowd stands and applauds for Sir Eric once again. It seemed that everyone from the kingdom had watched Sir Jason’s downfall. The announcer spoke once more, “Sir Andrew has requested a match for the day after tomorrow at 1:23pm”
Sir Jason left, crying, with his wife supporting him. Sir Andrew left with a very excited, yet worried face. The king left with a happy face, seeing that he just received a sheer five hundred pounds, from all of the bets he just won. All of the maidens, small, tall, young and old, some even married, jumped out of their seats to go swoon over Sir Eric. Ephrain was stuck. He had been as near as possible to Sir Eric just in case anything happened. Sir Joseph of Kafe had been right behind him making his own suggestions on the match to Ephrain, who was not listening. Ephrain spotted a beautiful young woman with fair skin and red, long, flowing hair. This was Rowena, his secret crush. Ever since Ephrain could remember seeing her, he had never dared to confess his love for her. Rowena started for the gates not even willing or wanting to go see Sir Eric, for she loved his friend Ephrain. She had always wanted to talk to Ephrain, but she was too nervous and scared. She walked through the crowded streets and Ephrain followed, finally finding the courage to talk to her. She headed toward the old bookstore, Plakoners. Her father was the bookkeeper, as well as royal record’s keeper. He and his wife were raising five children, two of which were almost old enough to get married and move on with their lives. She opened the door and walked in, shutting the door behind her, never noticing that Ephrain was there.

The Beginning
This is the start of a continuous project I will add here, I am really excited about this because it was a story I wrote long ago that I am re-writing and adding to. So here starts our journey!!
The Beginning
“Two young lovers, who had never once touched, nor conversed. Although they knew each other well by stolen glances, they would ultimately find each other through turmoil and distraught circumstances.” A young mother of two had just said this to her children before the eldest, Elizabeth, asked for the whole story. Her mother replied, “Yes.” Then she began the whole story.
“I will tell you about the characters first so that you will understand the story. First there is Ephrain Dicarlo, a blacksmith in the kingdom of Berble. Ephrain was a tall young man, with blazing blue eyes, and dark, shoulder length hair. Then there is Rowena Fwain, a beautiful, fair maiden, who was the oldest of her five brothers and sisters. Rowena had fiery, red hair, green eyes, and was a little taller than the average woman.
“Oh, she sounds gorgeous mother, is there love in this story?” Elizabeth interrupted once again. Her mother simply nodded her head up and down in a graceful manner.
“I hope there will be adventure as well.” William added, attempting to compete with his sister. His mother simply nodded her head once more before saying, “If you two do not stop, I will never be able to get to those parts.”
The children whispered their apologies under their breaths. The mother smiled. “Shall I continue then?” Both of the children nodded.
“Alright, well also in the kingdom, there was a sour king and his good son Sir Eric, who was in sword tournaments almost every day. People continuously challenged him, and he accepted because he knew he would always win. Kataleen Fuentes, another character in our story was an evil sorceress.”
“The kingdom I am about to describe is very much like ours; then again it is not. The kingdom was shaped in a rectangular form, with the King’s castle in the center. There were small thatch-roofed inn, pub, vendors, and even homes, in various places. There was one church, which had a pond adjacent to it. A bridge went over the pond, so that the village people could get to church every Sunday. On the other side of the kingdom there was an area where Sir Eric’s tournaments were held. Outside the double guarded gates and past the mote were homes and there were farmhouses in small groups, where you could find beautiful meadows. And past that, well the mountain ranges were there. Now, that you know this, let’s begin our story before it gets too late.”
Once upon a time, in a not so far away place, lived a blacksmith named Ephrain. He grew up with the blacksmith, Tony, because he did not know who or where his parents were. He was dropped off on the blacksmith’s doorstep when he was seven years old. He had no memory of his parents or what they looked like. In fact, he did not remember anything from his childhood up until he arrived at the blacksmith’s door. Except he could remember two things, a ship with white sail passing another ship with a purple sail, and his childhood friend Sir Eric, looking at him with his huge emerald eyes.
Life as a blacksmith was fairly simple, as it was the 1204 year in our realm. His jobs were to make swords and deliver them, to whoever ordered them. Sometimes he got orders all the way from Kafe, which was a week’s journey on foot. Every other day, Ephrain would go about the same routine. He would wake up and cook first meal. Then he would go to the shop and heat the metal, mold it, and let it cool. He would then go and eat whatever was available for second meal. When he returned to the shop, he would reheat the metal, shape it, and sharpen it. After this long and tiring process he would go to Acott’s, to relax and hear town gossip. The following day he would deliver swords.

Finding Mr. Right
Needs work but I will continue editing this until its done.
Finding Mr. Right
I woke up to the text on my tiny white Samsung phone. "Goodmorning Beautiful" was all it said. It was from the man I had met the night before, as a spur of the moment, lets meet after we had been texting for a couple weeks. He was tall, had kind eyes, dark hair, and a mustache. My first thought when he walked in to the brightly colored music shop at the mall was “Oh my gosh, He is so tall.” There have only been three other men in my life that are taller than six foot four.
After I got over my initial shock of his height, I shook his hand and said “Hello”. After a brief introduction of my two friends, who had come with me to meet this man, we all began looking through the DVDs that were on a rack in front of us. The DVDs were random and varied from Fragle Rock to The Hulk to Psych.
Eventually it was suggested that we walk around the mall, my friends nudged me to walk next to him, while my face turned beet red. Nerves already fried I just did what they were trying to get me to do and he tried to start a conversation with me. But I wouldn’t talk to him. I don’t know what was wrong with me because I am not usually quiet. My friends decided it would be a good idea to leave me alone with him to wonder the 2 story mall.
“I will get you to talk to me,” he said, as I giggled and continued to follow him. We walked along the second story of the mall and then down the escalator to the first floor. Many minutes passed with a conversational silence, as we continued to walking by many colorful shop windows, stores ranging from a Macy’s Christmas store to Victoria’s Secret this mall had everything.
“Oh the Disney Store! I love Disney!” I said.
We walked into the store and made a full circle around the store looking at the coffee cups, stuffed animals, and movies. We stopped when I noticed the little mermaid section. Picking up a Christmas tree ornament I noticed that my hands were uncontrollably shaking, I had not realized I was that nervous. On the drive to meet him I was steady, sang a few songs to the radio in my car, while my friend who sat in the back seat smoked and my other friend asked a few times if I was okay.
“The little mermaid is my favorite princess,” I said.
He simply replied, “cool.”
The two friends who had left me alone earlier were in the store, ducking down behind the shelves, trying not to be seen. They wanted to check on me and make sure everything was going well, I had no idea they were there and neither did he.
The man and I continued our walk around the mall, going into Hot Topic, and a Sports Fan shop. We joked about Florida and UGA, since he loves one and I love the other. The great rivalry begins, screaming at games while watching my little brother on the field would be fun with this man I might start dating.
While we joked and laughed and flirted, I began realizing that there was defiantly something there, like a spark, some potential that this could, would, work out. I knew it was too early to tell what would happen, but I began to hope. It’s just about time for Mr. Right to show up in my life.
After we were done looking around in the Sports Fan, we sat down on a bench just outside of the store. I could only think of what my friends would ask after tonight. They texted me asking if I was okay, if I wanted more time with him, I replied yes I was fine, more time would be nice.
He showed me his Droid smart phone and the hundreds of songs he had on it. We discussed music and found out that we both enjoyed many different genres. Handing me his phone so I could look through the music, I accidently moved my index finger down the screen way to fast and it caused the phone to scroll down to some random song I had never heard before.
He had mentioned earlier in the day, when we were still just discussing the possibility of meeting, that if we did he would have to leave at nine pm. Nine pm came and I asked if he needed to leave, he said he did not and asked if I needed to. Where else would I rather be than sitting on that bench with a very handsome man who was flirting with me?
Fifteen minutes later we had to say goodbye, the gates were closing on most of the store fronts around us, as we walked to the entrance of the mall we stole the last few glances, hugged, said goodbye, and he rubbed my shoulder while telling me he would text me when he got home.
I walked outside where my friends were waiting and was bombarded with the question, “So did you kiss him?”

Extras
These are just little bits of something that I have come up with, not sure what will happen with it but I need to put it somewhere, so for today this is going to be my creative work.
how she fell for his wit, his charm, his glamor. She would never know that he did not appreciate such clever humor as she longed for. When would the lines fit together, when would they two become so enthralled together?
My friend once said this in a im, I decided to ask if I could still it, so with permission here it is.
It was dark -in a crime filled city - cold, and there have been stray dogs that have hung around the campus. I didn't take my time

To just get up and leave...
To just get up and leave you would be that one thing in my life... the most difficult choice. Who to leave? Weighing the pros and cons of the multidimensional relationship that now is. If I don't get out now, will I just be stuck here like her? How would you ever forgive me? I have the horrible feeling that you won't, because of the expression on your face. Where will I go, who will I be without you? Oh to be free of the worries and stress. But why, how can I do this? After reading, watching, listening to love stories, is this how it ends? Is this what is to become of us? Meaningless passion and deprived emotions? The once mentioned "you are everything" were priceless words, now lost to the wind. I do miss them but I will move on one way or another. Like that old poem "Two roads diverged in a wood" Should I take the one less traveled by? Should I make the easy choice or the difficult one for the sake of it all?
Well here goes everything, what ever it takes I will stand by this decision, to just get up and leave.
Well here goes everything, what ever it takes I will stand by this decision, to just get up and leave.

The Spring Fling
This poem hit me on my way to checking my mail box today, in passing several couples that looked twitterpated, completely infatuated with each other, like they were the only two on the side walk. I do love to see couples like this, but sometimes I wonder about the relationship there and when they may have met. Emotions come and go, many girls expect the relationship to become more, but is that really fair to that other person. What if what we need, what they need is just a companion, not a long lasting love but just someone there for this time in their lives. (No this is not what I am doing in my life, I am speaking completely from a writer's point of view and what I have noticed. As I shall probably explain on my non-cw blog) So here is my poem that I randomly came up with today, I know it needs a lot of work and may strike up some questions.
to want to be with them that instant on impulse
it is spring and maybe its not love in the air,
something else, a need, a longing
definantly something is floating on the the breeze
that comes just before summer.
They say we should love and live and just go with the feeling.
If we do that these emotions may not last
it will be just a fling
what if I want more
what if what I long after is forever
just to feel "right" around someone.
He will never feel the same
or at least not the same moment that I feel this way.
So we will just learn to expect nothing,
after the moment passes
just to go on with our lives
as if nothing happened out of the ordinary.

The start of something new...
Hello Again Bloggers!!
I have decided to begin a creative writing blog to showcase some of my work, and to have a place to just let the creative thoughts go. So to start off with I guess I will post a few poems for today.
My chest feels it will explode
I have decided to begin a creative writing blog to showcase some of my work, and to have a place to just let the creative thoughts go. So to start off with I guess I will post a few poems for today.
Unexpected moments
any minute.
Maybe it is panic, maybe it is something more.
Rushing flashes of light fill the air
around me as I gaze upwards.
That is the only way I can look, I can’t move my neck at all.
The weird green and pink colors fly around.
Strange tubes are forced into my body.
Shouts of “Move, he’s coding” fill the air above me.
What does that mean?
The random faces try to reassure me with crinkles of sincerity around the eyes.
Where am I?
Untitled
Next time you’ll notice the zombies walking all around campus.
Earbuds in, not paying much attention to people or cars around them.
Completely zoned out.
Occasionally they take a look at their phones,
Checking the time or texting,
That’s when you know.
As they cross in front of traffic or pass in front of bikes,
Almost as if they are looking for a near death experience today.
